Is it possible for a person to be destined to be in real estate? Very few people are lucky enough to know what they want to do from a young age and even fewer are fortunate enough to see their dream through. As Jessica Alvarez learned, she possesses the eight signs that determine if you will become the best real estate broker.

 

Born and raised in sunny Southern California to Dominican parentage, Jessica moved to New Jersey as a young adult. It was in the northeast that she honed her work ethic and determined to maximize her education. Landing a dream job with a prestigious architecture firm she figured out two things. First, she realized the value of a great education and quickly set about earning her MBA in Marketing. Secondly, she fell in love with real estate and has never looked back.

 

In 2005 Jessica made the decision to abandon the cold weather and move to South Florida. Maintaining her desire to continue her work in the real estate field, she immediately set out to work for the largest property management company in the U.S. There she learned the property management side of the business and developed her people skills.

It didn’t take long for Jessica to work her way up from an entry level slot to the highly coveted property manager position.

 

Continually looking to better herself she set out to find the next opportunity in real estate and that came in the form of commercial real estate development. Grateful to be learning all the ins and outs of commercial real estate, site development, and working with a mix of professionals from architects to the city council, Jessica developed the skill set and network and became a force to be reckoned with.

 

It didn’t take long for Jessica to make the final step to real estate broker. With over 15 years’ experience in the real estate market, a love to service the needs of the customer and a commitment to show others the benefits of investing in properties, Jessica has stepped up to the plate and formed Intracoastal Real Estate Group. A premier realty company that lives by the motto, "80% of realtors aren't serious about your business, welcome to the other 20%!"

Jay hails from Boston, MA, studied architecture while in the Air Force, and was an air traffic controller. While in the service, his hobby in automotive, blossomed. Afterwards he began a career that has spanned every job in a collision center - from detailer to general manager and auto body shop owner.

 

Following hurricane Katrina he closed his shop in Gulfport, MS, to focus on auto body estimating for a multi-shop organization in Atlanta, GA. After 10 years in Atlanta the Sunshine State beckoned him with its gentle climate and change of scenery. In Miami, FL, Jay worked for the largest volume independent collision center in the state, but his interest in architecture called. Jay studied and his efforts resulted in obtaining a real estate license. 

As a licensed real sales associate with a passion for the automotive field, Jay found it natural to specialize as a business broker/commercial real estate agent. His attention to detail and ability to focus on producing results has proven a winning combination for buyers and sellers alike.

 

Possessing the knowledge and skills honed through years of experience, Jay is a formidable ally for clientele. Jay believes that hard work and fair dealing are cornerstones to every good business relationship. As an automotive professional and as a real estate agent, Jay is well regarded in Dade and Broward Counties, and is pleased to offer his business brokerage services as well. 

 

Jay resides in Miami, FL, and whenever he has time Jay enjoys traveling, scuba diving and spending time with his family.

Lyndon was born in Detroit Michigan – The Motor City. While in High School his family relocated to Tennessee. After Graduation he enlisted in The United States Air Force and worked as an Aircraft Mechanic. He was Honorably Discharged and entered into the civilian workforce. Starting off his civilian career he worked for The Norton Abrasive Company as a Manufacture Representative, followed by The Sherwin Williams Company as a Manufacture Representative and a Branch Manager in Miami Florida. 

 

Wanting a taste of the American Dream, Lyndon decided to work for himself and became an independent operator of a distribution company servicing the Automotive Industry. The freedom of being his own boss and the desire to help his clients were two benefits that would carry on throughout his career.

Upon the great success of being an independent operator Lyndon was asked by two longtime friends to enter into the Auto Body industry. Joining their management team they quickly became the second highest producing shop in the U.S. at the time. After several years of working at the highest levels with this dealership “Dream Team”, he had the opportunity of a lifetime. For a decade they owned and operated the highest grossing independent Auto Body in the state of Florida.

Upon retiring from the automotive field, but still wanting to help others, Lyndon acquired a Florida Real Estate License and became a Realtor/ Business Broker. He says, “I’m truly happy with this next evolution in my career and for the chance to help clients obtain the property of their dreams.” We are happy as well to have such a well-regarded and successful member to our team!
